Methodology

The following rankings are based on over 5,600 midlevel associates (3rd, 4th & 5th year) survey responses. The family-friendly evaluation comes mostly from an element of the survey which asked associates to evaluate how "family friendly" their law firm is. The data comes from The American Lawyer's 2005 Midlevel Associates Survey. Please visit that site (free registration required) to see complete survey results for each law firm.
